THE DRAGON SLAYER

I've seen my style evolve over the years and the thing I have come to learn, at least in my opinion, is that I draw like a painter or animator. I don't really see the images completely penciled and shaded in my mind.  I see lines. Once I've got the final image then I'll work it out in black and white, then maybe color it on the computer. If I decide to paint in watercolor I'll finish the painting and go back over with some inks in the end (like the Batman villains I posted a few days ago). Here is an example of a Dragon Slayer I penciled. I haven't moved forward coloring it yet but will most likely end up painting it in watercolors.
